Grape Republic - Anfora Arancione (2019)

Grapes are 100% from Yamagata. The wine is a blend of destemmed Delaware fermented on skin for 8 days,whole bunch of Niagara,Rosario Bianco, Gewurztraminer, Pinot Gris(co-fermentation),and home vineyard Delaware fermented on skin for 14 days. All of fermentations and aging are in amphora. Light tannins, savoury.

Established in 2015 by two friends and restaurant owners, Kazuomi Fujimaki and Takayuki Taira, Grape Republic is a producer of wine in Japan, predominantly from Labrusca grapes in pergola. Wines from own vineyards as well as supporting ageing local growers.
