Hana Makgeolli - Forbidden Takju

Made with 25% Forbidden Rice, an heirloom varietal of black rice with a distinctive dark bran, which gives this rice wine a beautiful dusk-like hue.

FORBIDDEN TAKJU is naturally fermented, unfiltered rice wine made using traditional Korean brewing methodologies. Dry, light in body, with notes of berries and almond, balanced by a bright lactic acidity.

Best kept refrigerated or stored in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Shake gently to incorporate sediment and enjoy cold.
