Based on an abandoned farmland that was turned into a grape planation, Domaine Tetta is making some killer new wines out of Okayama, Japan. They do not add acid, sulphur, use pesticides or herbicides. The wines are also fermented using wild yeast and are not fined.
Golden color with a hint of orange. Floral and aromatic nose reminds (reminiscent) of Muscat, pear, yellow peach and white blossom. Dry, with a great structured of acidity and tannins on the palate. The gorgeous aroma spreads in the mouth and lingers on the palate along with the fruity flavors. The unique character of bitterness from the wine is reminiscent of craft beer. 10 varieties of white grapes were used to make this such a unique style of wine.
