The Les Chemins de l'Arkose estate is located in Auvergne, in the heart of Montpeyroux. Yvan Bernard and Audrey Baldassin cultivate 8 hectares of vines there on the most beautiful terroirs of Puy-de-Dôme. The soils are clay-limestone more or less mixed with volcanic ash, and basaltic. On a vineyard that is very fragmented and therefore difficult to mechanise, they work with respect for the environment. Organic culture requires: no insecticides, no anti-rot or synthetic chemical treatments. Plowing and natural grassing are practiced. Their wines serve as a benchmark in Auvergne, through respect for the terroir and the vibrant purity of the juices. Welcome to Auvergne: here begins the Loire!
